Everyone who knows me knows that I love cosmetics and skin care and pretty much anything that concerns beauty. They also know that I love wearing winged eye liner as well. It's kind of my staple, no matter what I will always wear a cat eye when going out; whether it be bold and in your face or thin and discreet to enhance the shape of my eye. Some days I'll feel adventurous and add a bold lip color, or make a smokey eye but otherwise I'll stick with my classics. What can I say? In my mind I feel like a 1950s pin-up girl, just with a modern New York edge and a sassy attitude.
Needless to say, seeing the make up in this week's Fashion Week left me in an array of meh to okay to OH WOW I NEED TO TRY THAT. I feel like the main two that stuck out were Chanel (of course) and Giambattista Valli because of (as you could probably guess) the cat eyes they worked on the runway. Giambattista Valli's reminded me of a subdued Amy Winehouse version, very thick and beautiful. On the other hand, Chanel boosted up the cat eye look by adding a liner of glitter on the lower lash, which looked amazing, stepping up the cat eye game.

All I have left to say is, I love fashion week, and I cannot wait to see what comes next.
